The bank may permit any person to open saving account with the bank. This is generally meant for lower and middle income groups. This account can be operated at any time and withdrawal can be made either by using cheque or special form for the purpose. Opening of saving account with a minimum of Rs.250/-. The rate of interest is 4.5%
